About Gameziko
By Gameziko Editorial Team Β· Last updated
Gameziko (gameziko.com) is a free website for playing HTML5 games in a web browser. It lists 56,000 games in 19 categories. Every game plays on the page with no download, no install and no account.
Why Gameziko exists
Most free games online are spread across dozens of sites, many of them slow, crowded with pop-ups or full of copies of famous games. Gameziko brings browser games into one fast, simple place, sorted by category and popularity, so you can find something good to play in a few seconds.
Who runs Gameziko
Gameziko is an independent website run by the Gameziko Editorial Team. The team picks, sorts and describes the games, writes the guides on category pages and keeps the site's policies up to date. You can reach the team at any time through the contact page.
Where the games come from
Gameziko does not make the games itself. They are made by independent developers and published through three game distribution networks: GameDistribution, GamePix and GameMonetize. These networks license games to websites for free, and the games load from the networks' own servers inside a frame on our pages.
Games that use another company's famous characters or brand names without a license are removed. How games are selected and ordered is explained in how we choose and rank games.
How Gameziko is funded
Gameziko is free for players and is paid for by advertising. Many games show short ads from their distribution network, and Gameziko may show ads from Google AdSense on its pages. Ads are always shown in clearly marked spaces and never disguised as games or download buttons. Gameziko does not sell games, accept payment to rank a game higher or publish sponsored reviews.
What Gameziko does not do
- No accounts, no sign-up and no personal information requested from players.
- No downloads: every game runs in the browser.
- No real-money gambling, betting or prizes.
- No hosting of licensed hits such as Subway Surfers or Temple Run, which belong to other companies.
Limits worth knowing
Because the games come from third-party developers, Gameziko cannot fix bugs inside a game, recover lost progress or control the ads a game shows. Only the top 1,000 or so games have been checked closely. If a game is broken or inappropriate, please report it.
Guides and reviews
Besides the games, Gameziko publishes guides and articles, such as how to fix a game that won't load and how the different types of solitaire work.
