Editorial Policy
By Gameziko Editorial Team Β· Last updated
Gameziko writes its category guides and site pages itself, checks facts against the games and their developers' information, and never describes a feature a game does not have. Game descriptions come from the developers and are labeled that way. Mistakes are corrected when reported, and pages show the date they were last updated.
Who writes the content
Category guides, help pages and policies are written and reviewed by the Gameziko Editorial Team. Game descriptions and control instructions are supplied by each game's developer through its distribution network.
How content is written
- Each page answers the questions a player actually has: what the game is, how to play, whether it is free and whether it works on a phone.
- Facts such as controls, screen orientation and price come from the game's own data, not from guesswork.
- Claims are kept specific and honest. If something is uncertain, such as mobile support, the page says so.
- Pages use plain US English and define terms like "idle game" or "match-3" the first time they appear.
What is not allowed
The following games are filtered out by name where possible, and removed when they are found or reported:
- Games that use famous characters, brands or game names without a license.
- Real-money gambling or betting games.
- Games with sexual, hateful or extremely violent content.
- Downloads, browser extensions or anything that installs software.
Updates and corrections
Category pages and policies are reviewed at least every 6 months, and the "last updated" date changes whenever a page is reviewed. The game catalog is refreshed from the distribution networks regularly, which adds new games and removes ones that are no longer available.
To report a mistake, email contact@gameziko.com with the page link. Confirmed errors are fixed, usually within a week.
Independence
No developer or advertiser can pay for a better position or a different description. See the ad disclosure and how games are ranked.
